It rarely happens that nothing disappoints me on a vacation, but it was something about this place that I just cannot explain. Here everything was truly flawless, and I felt absolutely wonderful! We had a dream honeymoon at Meeru. I don’t even know where to begin, because there were so many things that impressed me and to be honest I almost cried when it was time to leave the island. The room was cleaned daily, even twice a day, and the housekeeping staff were extremely attentive, always making sure everything was perfectly in order. The staff deserve a perfect score. No matter where you go or who you meet, everyone is ready to help at any time. From the moment we arrived until we left this wonderful island, we were surrounded by truly amazing people. The food was outstanding, with something new every day. With the All Inclusive Plus package, we were also able to enjoy four à la carte restaurants, where the food was absolutely delicious. The drinks were just as impressive! As for the beaches, they were simply breathtaking. We stayed on the north side, in Water Villa 703, and I highly recommend this area because it felt much quieter and offered stunning views. It truly is an oasis of peace and relaxation. I wholeheartedly recommend Meeru, and we sincerely hope to return to this incredibly beautiful island as soon as possible! 🌴✨
I absolutely loved my stay at Meeru Resort Island. The staff always asked, "How are you?" and "How was your day?" They were friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. I adored the cleanliness of all the facilities, admired the wide variety of delicious food served every day, loved the beautiful ambience, and was truly impressed by how well the resort is managed. I'm sure I'll be back again! ❤️
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. Everything was truly perfect: the entire resort is very clean and well maintained, the food was varied and of very high quality, the beach and the underwater world are incredibly beautiful, and the staff are motivated and extremely friendly. Our children had a great time at the kids’ club, where there are small activities every day. It’s pure relaxation in paradise! I’m deducting one star because two things bothered me. First: We had to wait almost three hours for the transfer from Malé Airport to the hotel, even though several guests from Frankfurt and Zurich arrived on time. For a luxury hotel, I would have expected better planning here. Second: We received information by email about upgrading from full board to all-inclusive. The details in the PDF we were sent were, in my opinion, incomplete and misleading. On the one hand, excursions were listed that are also included with full board (such as daily snorkelling at the house reef), and on the other hand, certain drinks — for example mango lassi or milkshakes — are not included in the all-inclusive package and must be paid for separately. So why call this upgrade “All Inclusive Plus”? You would really have to consume a huge amount of alcohol to make up for the substantial extra cost. All in all, however, it was still a wonderful holiday, and we would book this hotel again.
We had a wonderful stay at Meeru Maldives end of May 2026, and overall it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. When we first arrived in the Maldives around 2:00 PM, we were expecting a quick transfer to the resort. However, we only reached the island around 5:30–6:00 PM, which was a bit disappointing as we had hoped to enjoy the evening at the water villa. That said, once we arrived, everything started to improve. The water villa was absolutely stunning—beautifully maintained with amazing views, exactly what we had dreamed of. The buffet was excellent, with a great variety and quality of food. There was a small issue the next day with the jacuzzi not working, which was frustrating at the time. However, what really impressed us was how the Meeru team handled it. Unlike typical automated responses, the team was genuinely attentive and made sure to follow up properly. Their gesture of offering additional time in the water villa along with thoughtful complimentary items like wine really made us feel valued as guests. The highlight for us was the extended checkout on the final day—such a simple but meaningful gesture that allowed us to relax and enjoy our last few hours without any rush. That truly made our holiday feel special and well taken care of. Overall, the hospitality and customer service at Meeru Maldives are excellent. The team went above and beyond to turn a few minor concerns into a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-managed Maldives getaway.
Meeru Maldives Resort Island was an amazing experience with friends and truly one of the best trips ever. The hospitality was outstanding from the moment we arrived, with the staff being warm, friendly, and always helpful. The rooms were awesome—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. There was a great variety of food and drinks, all delicious with plenty of choices for everyone. The entire island was very neat and clean, making the stay even more relaxing. The highlight was definitely the next-level fun with water sports, which made the trip exciting and unforgettable. A perfect place for a fun getaway with friends!
